You’ve made an object, such as a text box, a fixed width, smaller than the page width. How do you get it to centre align or right align on the page?
Insert an inner section and make it 1 column.
Move your object into the column.
Select the column (the column within the inner section, not the inner section itself).
Layout > Horizontal Align > Center
